Dear Colleague,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 4th World Congress of the Scientific Society in Total Intravenous Anaesthesia that will take place on May 24-25- 26, 2014, in Sophia, Bulgaria. Every two years WORLD SIVA attracts a wide international and multidisciplinary audience to allow the opportunity for delegates to share their experiences and ‘network’ with a variety of specialists in their respective fields of interest.

In line with WORLD SIVA’s mission statement: The association will also improve the standard of Intravenous Anaesthesia; improve Intravenous Anaesthesia delivery systems; including Target Controlled Infusion (TCI) technology; promote the clinical application of existing and new knowledge in Intravenous Anaesthesia; promote scientific education in Intravenous Anaesthesia; bring together those who study and practice Intravenous Anaesthesia; develop and recommend safety and quality standards for Intravenous Anaesthesia; address any possible ethical problems associated with Intravenous Anaesthesia; establish an international network for the exchange of information and expertise about Intravenous Anaesthesia.

The scientific program also includes practical workshops on highly clinically relevant topics.

This edition of the World Congress will again feature a groundbreaking program with world renowned faculty, authoritative and innovative keynote lectures, scientific theme tracks, industry luncheon symposia, poster sessions, an integrated industry exhibition, and last but not least magnificent social networking events full of culture and culinary delights.
